Hi and Welcome to my Website! I’m Cyndie Knorr. My three kids are teenagers and I know what it’s like when your kids are little and people tell you that “Time Flies” and “Kids Grow up so Fast”… You don’t believe it! Especially when they say this to you when your baby is sick or teething or going through the ‘terrible twos’ (and three’s) and you can’t wait for that particular day to end… Then you find yourself so incredibly busy with work, then chasing around to all of your kids games, concerts, and practices, barely finding time to eat together or really notice how quickly they ARE growing up, right before your eyes!

Even as a little girl, I have always loved taking photographs. In 2005 I began the exciting endeavor of learning how to use a camera properly, and this led to a focused study of more advanced photographic techniques: composition, lighting and posing. In 2009 I joined the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). Over the years, I’ve studied from the Masters from all over the world, and continue to learn something new every single day.

It’s so easy to take hundreds of photos these days, especially on your cell phone! There are times, however, when you will need to capture a decent family portrait, and then there are those once-in-a-lifetime special occasions where your cell phone pics are just not going to cut it! In those cases, please let me help you out with that!

Family is the most important thing in the world to you!

Why not feature your family and your kids’ portraits as timeless and beautiful artwork on the walls of your home? Every time you see those images you will smile and remember that precise moment in time. We think we will remember, but our memory is never as good as we hope it’s going to be. Things change, loved ones become ill and eventually pass away, and sometimes life has a way of suddenly getting really weird and painful, and we desperately need some happy memories to hold on to.

With this digital era it is still important to have physical prints of your images. Most people have a computer full of digital files, and their cell phone and camera cards are also full of digital images, and they never get around to printing anything off. What would you do if you LOST all of those digital images forever? Computers crash; discs and hard drives fail. It happens more often than you would like to imagine. The saying among computer techs is “It’s not ‘IF” your computer (hard drive / storage device) will fail… it’s “WHEN”! Don’t think it will never happen to you; it’s devastating when it does.

When my kids were little, I was into scrapbooking! My kids often get those albums out and look through them. The majority of these scrapbooks contain memories that they wouldn’t even have if the photographs were not there now to remind them. I’m “old school”, and love to see portraits on the walls in people’s homes, and albums which tell a complete story of a family and how they spend their precious time together. There is something satisfying about holding a real album and looking at the photos together… digital images lack that gratifying wholesome-ness.

I strive for Excellence, both in the service that I offer each of my customers, as well as the quality of products.

Because I am so confident in my skills and abilities as a Professional Portrait Photographer, I am able to offer something to you that most “Photographers” would never dare to even consider…

100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee!

I guarantee that you will be (not just ‘happy’, but) THRILLED with your portraits. If you don’t completely LOVE the portraits that I have created for you, I will do whatever is necessary to make any adjustments to make things right. If that is not possible, you will receive ALL of your money back, with no further questions and no hard feelings.

Original Cyn tag line

There are literally thousands of ‘photographers’ whom you could choose to photograph your kids and your family (and take your Business portraits too!). What I offer is a custom portrait experience, where the Focus is on you, from start to finish! I take the time to find out about each person I will be photographing, and what exactly you need as a finished product, and then with your needs paired with my expertise, we create the masterpieces that you (and future generations) will treasure for many years.

The majority of my business comes from repeat customers, and their referrals. I have an incredible Referral Program (contact me for details!). Thank you, my dear friends, for letting me be a part of the celebration of your lives and relationships with each other!

Since a properly created “Portrait” must capture the personality, the character, and the unique essence of each individual, this is something that I strive to capture in every single image I create of a person (and even your pets!).

Beautiful, genuine emotion is NOT something that comes naturally to people when someone points a camera at them. I love it when someone tells me that they:

  1. hate getting their pictures taken, and
  2. don’t look ‘good’ in pictures.

It becomes my personal challenge to show them how beautiful they really are.

When we look at ourselves, we often notice every little “flaw”

and focus on our perceived “imperfections”.

A beautifully created portrait shows you - not how you see yourself,

but rather, how your Loved ones see you!
